Chicago, IL – May 5, 2025 – Asset Allocation and Management LLC (AAM) today announced the appointment of Todd R. Kurisu, CFA, as Senior Portfolio Manager.

Todd Kurisu is a seasoned fixed-income investment professional with over 30 years of expertise in portfolio management, credit analysis, and client engagement. In his role at AAM, he will collaborate with AAM’s insurance clients to design customized, risk-adjusted investment portfolios.

Kurisu joins AAM most recently from Mesirow in Chicago, where he served as Senior Portfolio Manager and Managing Director, overseeing separately managed accounts and leading client relationships. Prior to Mesirow, he spent 17 years at William Blair & Company, managing various bond strategies, servicing institutional clients and serving as an ESG thought leader. Earlier in his career, Kurisu worked at AAM as Head Corporate Bond Trader and as an Assistant Portfolio Manager.

He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Finance with Honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago. A CFA charterholder since 1996, Kurisu also holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
